I am very happy Akhkharu.net is functionable again! A wonderful woman from my hosting company named Kelly was finally able to assist me in getting the problem with editing the website resolved. I want to thank you for your patience and deeply apologize for the delay on the bookmarks and naming of the contest winner. With this issue resolved we can now begin to move forward again, and keep you updated on all the exciting things to come.
Work on Akhkharu: Apocalypse is progressing, although I did have to put it on hold for my big move. The final rewrites and editing are nearly complete but have taken longer than expected so the release date is now going to be pushed back, slightly. It now appears it will be in the first quarter of 2007, but it's going to be well worth the wait!
I also want to take the time here to thank all of you who have emailed me with your comments, thoughts and hopes for what is to come, you won't be dissapointed. Many of you will be very suprised, but trust me, you'll love it! Too bad I'm not one to give anything away, but you'll find out soon enough >:-)

It is with a deep sorrow that I write this, Saturday a wonderful man and author passed away, Peter Benchley, at the mere age of 65. Mr. Benchley wrote several acclaimed novels, but was best known for his blockbuster novel Jaws, which was later adapted into (IMO) the greatest movie of all time. I had an opportunity to see Mr. Benchley at 2005's Jawsfest and am very grateful for it.
According to Wendy, Peter's beloved wife of 41 years, he passed away in their New Jersey home after losing his battle with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, which is a progressive disease that causes scarring in the lungs that ultimately becomes fatal.
My prayers go out to Mr. Benchley's family, and I sincerely thank him for creating the work that has impacted my life in so many strange ways.

All is coming together quite well with Apocalypse, it's now in the rough draft editing phase. (So be sure to get your reviews in before the contest is closed!) Once the final editing begins I will post the preview for you on the site, I think you'll all be happy with the progression of the storyline. While it will answer those questions so many of you had, it will also raise more for you to ponder.
Beginning work on Akhkharu: Inception has begun. I'm really hyped about the third and final installment in my Akhkharu series. It will be well worth the wait! And never fear, it will not be the end of Akhkharu because,
...the dead will be more numerous than the living
Thank you for your continued support!

I'm happy to announce the addition of the Volume Purchasing Discounts for orders of 3 or more books directly through akhkharu.net (soon we'll be accepting single orders as well). We've also added a Reviews page but for reasons pertaining to the open review contest, those of you who sent in a review directly to us will have to wait to see their reviews posted until after the end of the contest, so keep them coming!
Apocalypse is nearing completion, I'll be adding a sneak peek for it once the editing phase begins. Thanks for all of your support and wonderful comments!

Due to lack of creative control and the over-abundance of ads (pop-ups and otherwise) I have opted to remove the forum.

Thank you all for your requests for a message board. I have added one, but I was not satisfied with the one offered by my provider. I will be adding more "content appropriate" icons, smilies and avatars soon.

Thank you all for your reviews to date, your comments are appreciated! Be sure to keep them coming as I am still working on Apocalypse, so by no means has the winner been nominated yet. If you'd like to see your name as a major character in Apocalypse or get yourself an akhkharu.net email address see the Current Events page.

Welcome to my website and thank you for your interst in Akhkharu: House of the Vampire. First in a series of three, House of the Vampire will introduce you to the world of Akhkharu, followed by Akhkharu: Apocalypse then Akhkharu: Inception.
Apocalypse is coming along quite well and it will definitely be worth the wait! It will take you deep within the mind and rule of Sarrum as he once again restores the old ways in this new world. If you couldn't see the end of HOTV coming, wait till you read the end of Apocalypse.
Thank you all for your reviews of HOTV, I have read each and every one and I truly thank you for your overwhelming responses. We have also had many requests for a discussion board. I am considering it, so please if you have not already done so email us your opinion about it. Oh and please, they've asked me to remind you to put BOARD in the header of your email.
Remember,
...the dead will be more numerous than the living
